Wild Relaxation
DESCRIPTION
Guests planning an extended stay at Ombe Guestfarm are invited to experience thrilling wildlife encounters from a well-camouflaged hide, nestled deep within the wilderness. Each day, various game and bird species visit one of the many secluded waterholes within our private game farm.
- Ombe is a birdwatcher’s paradise, home to over 300 bird species, including majestic eagles, hornbills, vultures, and owls.
- Unwind as you observe giraffes, a group of bat-eared foxes, or an aardwolf drinking from the waterhole, or antelopes lingering around the salt lick.
- Immerse yourself in the sounds of nature—hear a warthog grunting as it enjoys a mud bath, the mating calls of impalas, the loud howls of jackals, and the crowing of guinea fowl.
