As the late afternoon sets in, the wildlife at Ombe Guestfarm becomes more active and visible, making it the perfect time to embark on our Sundowner Game Drive across the 4,100-hectare private game reserve. You’ll explore stunning landscapes and, thanks to decades of sustainable wildlife management, enjoy the sight of a diverse range of animals.
- Relax in the back of an open safari vehicle while observing giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, or the world’s largest antelope, the eland.
- Experience oryx, ostriches, warthogs, impala, and wildebeest in their natural habitats.
- If luck is on your side, you might even spot a well-camouflaged leopard, a cheetah, or their tracks.
- Before the sun sets, we’ll take you to our special sundowner spot, where your heartbeat will slowly sync with the rhythmic sounds of chirping geckos and crickets.
- Unwind with local snacks and ice-cold drinks as you watch the sun set on another magical day in Africa.
