On a daily basis, various game and bird species visit one of many secluded waterholes inside the private game reserve.

– Ombe is a birdwatcher’s paradise with over 300 bird species, amongst them majestic eagles, hornbills, vultures and owls.
– Unwind while observing giraffes, a group of bat eared foxes or an aardwolf drinking from the waterhole or antelopes lingering around the salt rock.
– Listen to the sounds of nature, a warthog grunting while taking a mud bath, the mating calls of the impala, the loud howling of jackals and crowing of guinea fowl
– Possible special sightings include cheetah, leopard, brown hyena, honey badger and many more
